Microsoft's desktop publishing software
Publisher has a relatively smaller market share in the desktop publishing market, which is dominated by Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress. Publisher has historically been less well-liked among high-end commercial print shops, compared with other desktop publishing applications. However it is widely used and often comes as part of Microsoft's Office suite of programs which include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Pack and Go
Use the Pack & Go option - otherwise some files may be missing causing output problems. Pack & Go should gather all files used into an archive.
The Pack and Go Wizard greatly simplifies the process of preparing your files for commercial printing. The Pack and Go Wizard creates a packed Publisher file that contains all the elements that we need, as well as a PDF file if you choose.
The Pack and Go Wizard creates linked graphics and embeds fonts in your publication so that we have access to the graphics and typefaces that are in your publication. In addition, the wizard lists any fonts that it can't embed and reports any problems with linked graphics.
