Origination specifications

• Basic advert prices assume provision of acceptable complete file such as PDFX-1a or EPS.
  (see specifications panel on right)
• Pagefast can design and originate your advertising - individual quote available on request.
• However, if you do want to supply your advert as a file please check our requirements FIRST in order to save yourself extra costs in converting to our specifications.
• We can accept files for PC or Apple Mac and can access most file types or programs - however please contact Pagefast FIRST before starting work on creating your advert to check that we can in fact process files created by your software - this will save time and expense all round.
• You should supply all graphics and fonts used and provide a print-out so we know what you expect to see when printed. We reserve the right to substitute fonts where these are not supplied.
• Once your advert has been output we will send you a proof, normally as Acrobat PDF or graphic file by email. Alternatively a laser proof can be faxed or posted to you. Colour Proofs can be provided at extra cost.

File Specifications

Graphic Files should be a minimum resolution of 300dpi at size to print. Most formats acceptable.

NB: Beware of sending screen resolution (72dpi) graphics such as those commonly found on websites - these are usually too low resolution for litho printing. Hint: Drag the graphic into your internet browser. Maximum print size is about one-quarter of the visible size.

Film is no longer acceptable:
You should convert to 300dpi press resolution PDFX-1a - the industry standard - Contact us if this is not possible.
